I am not the world’s greatest cook. My experience in the kitchen has led to exploding blenders, roasting brownies in plastic containers, and an occasional fire.  But I love to eat food and I will eat anything. I don’t enjoy eating everything (mushrooms in particular come to mind and yes I realise this is a complete sin to most food lovers). But if something edible is laid before me, I’m going to have to try it. What’s more, I’m going to have to tell someone about it, all about it – the good, the bad and the just plain ugly. 

I love to talk about food and I love knowing more about food. I want to write about different ingredients, meals, and drinks. I want to explore their history and backgrounds. But most importantly I want to consume them!
